29.01.15
In today’s lesson we did a fall run of the play, finished the ending and restaged some of tale 4.

Set yourself three rehearsal targets:

1. Remember all stage blocking.

2. Make sure I am speaking in my characters voice

3. Projection
Reflect on the targets set:  Have they been achieved? How?

1. I achieved this target, as I went through the blocking during the week so I wouldn’t forget them.

2. I have achieved this target for most of my characters, but I haven’t perfected my voice for the elderly lady, therefore I am going to practice my elderly voice throughout the week.
3. I think I achieved this target as I feel I was speaking loud, but not too loud, and saying my lines clearly, although I am not sure I was projecting consistency, because as a class we were told to project more.

What would you give yourself for today’s rehearsal?

Marking criteria:
Why?
P2 Demonstrate personal and technical skills in rehearsal making a positive contribution to the process

M2 Demonstrate personal and technical skills in rehearsal, consistently making a positive contribution and constructive contribution to the process.

D2 Demonstrate personal and technical skills in rehearsal with consistently positive and constructive contributions, engagement, commitment, input and self- reflection.
I think I worked at a distinction, as I demonstrate personal and technical skills for example movement memory, characterisation, and facial expressions. Also I made positive and constructive contribution. I was engaged in the lesson, as I was focused, so therefore never missed my cues. I also committed to my characters, and tried to improve upon my acting but reflecting on last week’s lesson.
