In today's lesson we went
over tale 5 and tightened it up, also we ran some of the tales in order,
making some changes along the way.
Set yourself three rehearsal targets:
1. Memorise my Blocking for next lesson
2. Push my physical acting skills
3. Work on my facial expression to show more emotion.
Reflect on the targets set: Have they been
achieved? How?
1. I am on my way to achieving this target, as I know most of the
blocking for the tales, but I need to be more confident in some of them to make
my moves more clean. I will achieve the target by going over my notes, and
marking them out at home.
2. I achieved this target because I feel I pushed my physical skills when, during tale 5, we pretend to be wild animals, and in tale 7 when we pretend to be snakes. By doing this I feel I made my performance more captivating and intense as I was committed, therefore, the audience believed in the movements and felt more involved in the scene.
3. I feel I achieved this target as I used facial expressions well to show how my character was feeling in each tale. I think this is important because in the majority of the tales I have lines at random. Therefore it is important to use facial expression, to stay in character, and to help the audience to understand how my character is feeling.
What would you give yourself for today’s rehearsal?

today’s lesson I feel I worked at a merit because I think I really pushed my
acting skills, and committed to my character, throughout the lesson. I also
made positive and constructive contribution as I put effort in to each tale
and staying focused in tale 5. However I feel I could of contributed more in
tale 7 when working independently as nobody really took control, and people
were generally just shouting.
